Modernization of boiler cleaning at Kanadevia type WtE plant
No more manual explosion cleaning needed after installation of 2 P-WAVE generators in superheater section
Two P-WAVE generators are operating on Line 2 since August 2022 - positioned upstream superheaters 3 and 4. It is sufficient to operate them twice a week and tuned down to 350 bar (from from 600 bar). That way the plant maintains stable flue gas and boiler-outlet temperatures without organising manual explosion-cleaning campaigns. Once per year is largely sufficient for the exchange of the propane cylinder and maintenance of the P-WAVE generator and booster-compressor.
